What is Impulse Fiber?

Synchronous Upload and Download Speeds –On shared networks such as cable and LTE, download speeds are usually significantly faster than upload speeds.  For residential users this is typically fine, businesses, however, rely heavily on video conferencing, cloud-based storage, and communication platforms that need to send as much data as they download.

Voice Ready – Impulse has complete control to provide Quality of Service (QoS) for sensitive voice applications like our ClearStar cloud-based PBX.

Guaranteed Speed – Cable, FiOS or LTE networks get congested and slow down during busy times, with a fiber connection this does not happen.  Fiber connectivity provides companies with a specific, symmetrical, amount of bandwidth that is reserved for their business.

Secure – Fiber is not shared with other subscribers.  It is a point-to-point private data connection between your company and Impulse’s robust data centers that then connect to the Internet via multiple routes. 

Robust Support and Proactively Monitored –Fiber networks are fully managed by Impulse, meaning your enterprise does not have to invest in required equipment and maintenance staff to monitor the network.  Impulse assumes responsibility for ensuring the network connection adheres to terms outlined in the SLA.
