Impulse Installs High-Speed Network at The Granada Theatre

Impulse recently finished installing a customized communication solution for The Granada Theatre, providing them with a high speed, fully redundant, converged voice and data network.

Caren at The Granada Theatre said the following about our management and installation of this high speed, high availability solution,  “Thank you for all your teamwork and diligence to ensure a successful phone system cutover. I am very appreciative of everyone’s professionalism, reliability and efforts!”

The Granada Theatre needed an extremely fast Internet connection of 100Mbps up and down to the theater for their large graphic design projects.  They also needed the ability to send files between the theater and their administrative office, which is farther up State Street, at speeds of 100Mbps.

In addition to this, they needed secondary Internet connections at both locations for redundancy with automatic failover and phone lines via PRI to their new phone system also with redundancy in place.

Impulse provided exactly what The Granada Theatre needed, installing a managed  100Mbps wireless point-to-point Internet connection from the top of The Granada Theater to our Impulse data center on Anapamu Street.  Impulse also installed a second wireless 100Mbps connection to The Granada Theatre’s administrative office.  For redundancy, we installed 30Mbps Ethernet-over-Copper (EoC) connections to both locations.

Last but not least, Impulse then provided a managed Adtran router that automatically sends data and voice over the best connection and provides seamless cross-failover between the two.  This is yet another example of Impulse helping make businesses more successful by customizing the way they communicate.
