Broadsoft Connections Yearly Unified Communications Conference

Each year the Impulse team attends the Broadsoft Connections conference.  This year’s conference was bigger than ever, which probably has something to do with the fact that Broadsoft’s software powers more than 55% of the cloud PBX market.

Broadsoft is the software Impulse utilizes to powers our cloud based Unified Communications platform.  While we learned about a ton of new Unified Communications features that will excite many of our customers in the near future, the best part of the conference is getting to spend quality time with so many of our software and hardware partners.

Impulse had a very interesting private meeting with the Polycom team and learned about their up and coming products, some of which sound very exciting and we cant wait to get our hands on the beta units!

Kakapo Systems took us through all the amazing features of their new PC based receptionist software, which Impulse will offer customers in the next few months. Not only does their software have a slick user interface that lets you drag and drop to transfer calls with ease, it also automatically reminds the receptionist who the caller was transferred to the last time they called in!

The CTI Group was very excited to hear about Impulse’s new Chicago office and also let us know their their call recording software will be able to record video, very cool!  As usual, we had a great time at the conference and look forward to next year.
