Impulse has identified issues affecting access to certain websites served via the Akamai Content Delivery Network, related to traffic entering the network of one of the upstream Tier 1 providers. We are working with the upstream carrier to address their network problem. Meanwhile, Impulse NOC is implementing measures to mitigate the impact by rerouting traffic around the affected upstream carrier.

Please be advised: One of our larger aggregate circuits with Nitel is having an outage in the Chicago area. This will affect multiple customers in the south, midwest and to the east coast if you are connecting through to our Chicago POP.
