Over the last 12 months, Impulse has launched an unprecedented list of new ClearStar features.

Impulse’s ClearStar PBX is hosted in the cloud so all these new features are easily available to any customer who wishes to add the license.  It’s important to remember that before the power of the cloud, adding any of these features would require complex hardware and software upgrade.

As new features are released, we are committed to creating product and support pages, blogging about them, and updating everyone via our newsletter.  However, we realize you may have missed some of these amazing collaboration-boosting features, so we thought it would be a good idea to highlight a few of our favorites.

Unity – Chat and Presence Software

Unity enhances collaboration by letting you know when your coworkers are on the phone and who they are talking to.  Unity even integrates with mobile workers providing presence from smartphone users who use the ClearStar MobileLink app. Go ahead and download the free trial and let us know what you think.  Click here to learn more about Unity.

MobileLink – Smartphone Integration

Impulse’s ClearStar MobileLink feature lets you seamlessly use your smartphone to make and receive business calls, just as you would from your office phone.  Anyone with an executive account can download this app free of charge, just please let us know if anyone is planning to do so, so we may add the appropriate tag to their account. Call Recording –

Voicemail-to-Email

How can your Voicemail save you time and enhance your productivity?  Well, if you have our cloud-based VoIP phone system, ClearStar, one way you can save time is by using our Voicemail-to-Email feature. With ClearStar, voicemails are sent to your email inbox as an audio .wav file attachment.  You’ll know exactly when you received a voicemail via push email to your smartphone and can quickly determine who it’s from by the subject line.  Click here to learn more about Voicemail-to-Email.
