Community involvement and giving back to the local Santa Barbara community is something that we here at Impulse pride ourselves on. We believe it’s important to stay active in local affairs and we strive to help make our beautiful city a better place to live. Impulse holds a special place for non-profits and their staff, who work tirelessly to provide local services that can help save a life or to help people end their journey with love and dignity.
So it was our pleasure to attend and be a corporate sponsor for the American Heart Association Beach Ball event and a Red Rose Sponsor for the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Mother’s Day Luncheon.
Lee Carlander and Chris Rose attended the American Heart Association Beach Ball, held at the beautiful Coral Casino. The event helped to “raise funds for research and initiatives preventing heart disease. The American Heart Association is committed to helping our children live stronger, healthier lives with education, research and public policies that effect where they live, learn and play.”
Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care hosted its 13th Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon last Friday at the Coral Casino, which paid tribute to the important mothers and women in our lives. Lee Carlander, Ken Alker, Cesar Perez, and Chris Rose all attended the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Mother’s Day Luncheon with some very special guests: their Moms.
Guests were treated to this year’s first ever fashion show, and Master of Ceremonies Andrew Firestone opened the luncheon program, which honored local philanthropist Jill Levinson and honored in memory Barbara Ward Rollerson, Founder & President of Dream Foundation.
Everyone who worked to put on these events did an outstanding job, and Impulse was proud to be both an event sponsor and attendee.
