Jesusita Fire 3rd Update

Santa Barbara, CA, May 9th, 2009 - The winds that were driving the Jesusita Fire have abated and Santa Barbara area's power grid has been stable for over a day. The winds are expected to stay down through the weekend, and the mandatory evacuation areas are being significantly reduced. Our battery and generator back-up systems have operated successfully throughout the fire.

Customer Support will be open for our normal Saturday hours and we expect our services and staffing levels to remain in a normal state through the week ahead. We will post further updates about the fire's impact should things reverse course.
