Jesusita Fire 2nd Update

Santa Barbara, CA, May 8th, 2009 - The Jesusita Fire continued its impact on the Santa Barbara area's power grid last night, and we expect to see continued power outages later today and through the weekend.  Our battery and generator back-up systems have continued to operated successfully through these power outages.  

The shift of the fire westward last night brought the evacuation area closer to our company headquarters and Goleta datacenter, however we are still outside the area currently threatened by the fire, and our services and staffing level remain in a normal state.

We are in the process of setting up Internet access for the Forest Service fire camp currently being assembled at Live Oak Camp. Our engineering team is prepared to assist our customers and emergency responders with emergency communications requirements.
