Impulse Delivers T1 Internet Access to Tea Fire Camp in 90 Minutes
SANTA BARBARA, CA - November 14, 2008 - Tea Fire crews needed Internet access to the fire camp to help coordinate firefighting efforts, and for a quick response the phone company turned to Impulse. Within 90 minutes of their call to Impulse, Impulse had built the circuit, configured a router, assigned IP addresses, dispatched an engineer and completed the onsite T1 installation.
Impulse initially demonstrated their capability to quickly respond during the Zaca Fire in Santa Barbara County over the summer of 2007 and has since provided Internet connectivity support for the Running Springs fire in San Bernardino County as well as the Gap Fire in the Los Padres National Forest above Goleta in Santa Barbara County.
