Impulse Changes Name to Impulse Advanced Communications
Santa Barbara, CA, May 1st, 2009 - Impulse Internet Services announced today it is changing the name of the company to Impulse Advanced Communications. Founded in 1995 with a focus on business Internet services, the company’s services offering has expanded since then to include much more than just Internet Services. It now includes managed hosting and colocation, the ClearStar hosted phone system, dynamic voice and data T1s, PRI 2.0 with advanced features, and the hosted Zimbra Collaboration Suite.
“Our suite of advanced communications services is built on a foundation of IP, but our name has only reflected that foundation, and not the last decade of our company’s evolution” said Dave Clark, President of Impulse. “Our name change more accurately communicates our core focus on advanced communications services that provide our customers a technological advantage.”
Impulse Advanced Communications has been providing advanced communications services to small and mid-sized businesses on the Central Coast of California since 1995. Impulse offers business Internet and telephone services including the ClearStar hosted phone system, voice and data T-1s, and Zimbra, a new collaboration platform that allows offices to share email, calendar and contacts – and sync them across different devices, from PC to Mac to Smartphone. Impulse is a privately held company based in Santa Barbara, California, and on the web at http://www.impulse.net.
